When can we vote FOR something?

Beware the injured desperate idealogue. He is a bitter clinger. Watch what happens next as he doubles down and forces more of his ideology unto his suddenly uppity slaves (that would be you and me).

Tactics to get us through. But then what?

In 2006 and 2008, voters rejected GOP statism and ineptitude.

Throughout 2009, Tea Party protests reject both (D) and (R) statism.

January 2010, voters reject Dem statism and progressive tyranny.

Most voters were NOT voting for something.
Voters have been consistently rejecting tyranny of kleptocracy and bureaucracy.

Rejecting failure is not a plan for success.

When can we vote FOR restoration of our Constitution?

When can we vote FOR dismantling the leviathan Fed.gov agencies of tyranny and dependency?

When can we vote FOR putting the corrupt in prison?

When can we vote FOR making illegal actually mean illegal?

When can we vote FOR naming islam the enemy of the west, and start fighting the real enemy, instead of chasing around in distant outposts of the enemy?

Face it: "PC" is just shorthand for "progressive communist" political corruption. It lubricates our slide to death.

We need to grow some balls and dare to start winning again.

Trying to 'slow the losses' is not a plan for success. Neither Islam nor progressive communism will be defeated by more of the same retreating and delaying and pretending. When can we vote FOR winning?

OLD VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green.’

Acorn stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house where the news stations film the group singing, ‘We shall overcome.’

Rev. Jeremiah Wright then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper’s sake.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ants food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant’s old house, crumbles around him because he doesn’t maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident. And the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2010/2012

How many absentee ballots from military Zip codes and AFPO's are being thrown out? How many different color pens are filling out how many other absentee ballots this weekend? How many community organizers drive bus loads of serial voters from polling place to polling place on election day to vote for the dead?

Win, Lose, Draw - We need to study their methods.

How is ACORN still getting $$$M of your money?
Why are they not all in jail?
Judges and prosecutors in bed with the corruption.

If you want to fight for freedom, fight for the legitimacy of voting; voter registration, voting laws, the process of counting and certification, variances, creative partisan judges.

We are hoping for vigorous process and the rule of law.
We are all expecting widespread "cheating" and then cover-up by partisan local and State officials and the judges (rule of corrupt men). They succeeded in MN, when the margin was small. They tried in NJ, but the margin was too big. But the methods weren't exposed, nor the cheaters held accountable.

Will they be able to cover a 2% margin? Or 5%? We need forensics to sift through the data and estimate the number of questionable votes, and the number of fraudulent votes. How many votes were tampered with? What methods did they use? Precinct by precinct, what were the names of the individuals responsible? Expose the methods, and expose the culpable.

The January election has to be carefully monitored, to understand what our votes will mean in November. Is "cheating" acceptable in the bannana republic of corruptostan?

Close observation and analysis will clarify our new reality.

American Apocalypse

Looking for some fiction? Something witty and prescient?

"American Apocalypse" is an online novel by NoVa, in several parts. "American Apocalypse I" is now also available at Amazon. Part II is online. Part III is started. A campanion volume developing one of the characters is being written/posted now.

The working drafts are online. New sections are posted frequently; almost every day, sometimes twice a day. It's easy to navigate by 'walking the links', starting in July 2009 (down the right side). After each post, there are comments. Selecting 'next post' at the bottom of each page is like turning a page in a book. The pace of writing is envigorating.

"American Apocalypse" follows a few characters through the slow disintegration of American society; a 'slow slouching descent' as experienced by those living near Gomorrah on the Potomac. This is not a documentary, or a tactical manual. The blog posts are rapid fire drafts. (Spelling problems and typos are abundant. If the author didn't apologize so much, I'd think they were an intentional device to describe the 'characters voice' and to make the narrative seem like raw reportage.) The plot keeps evolving. The characters are interesting. The writing is crisp and full of surprises. Try a chapter online, or three, or seventeen. The fresh attitude keeps it interesting.

Global Guerillas and Western Rifle Shooters Association mentioned "American Apocalypse" in early December. I got hooked. After reading everything, I bought the book at Amazon.

I link and directly post the quote because I like to remove rumor where I can. The gist of it is that interpol agents are exempt from any investigation let alone prosecution

Originally this came from Reagan, but the great Communicator said in his original order that Interpol Agents were held to the same legal standards as any American Law Enforcement official. This amedment by President Obama gives Interpol Agents diplomatic immunity.

Here is the skinny you should remember on this. While our minds immediately go to international agents lurking about you have to remember that Interpol has American agents working for them as well. This means American Agents can arrest, detain, and in effect hold a license to kill American Citizens and simply walk away. The U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights bear no place in any of it.

Yet our and I mean "our" law enforcement community is constantly ham-stringed and thrown under the bus (or jail) by their own brass.

Clyde Middleton may have said it best with
"What does this mean? It means that we have an international police force authorized to act within the United States that is no longer subject to 4th Amendment Search and Seizure. The "property and assets of [INTERPOL], wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation."
INTERPOL, an international criminal police organization, is now poised to reside above the United States Constitution - in a place of sanctity beyond our FBI, CIA, DIA, and all other criminal investigatory domestic organizations.

President Obama has just placed our Constitutional rights under international law.


And you thought the PATRIOT ACT was spooky.

If allowed, this abdicates sovereignty over citizens to a foreign, non-state, agency.

If allowed, this creates super-sovereign (SS) units, above the law, and above our Constitution.
They can go anywhere and do anything, and they are not constrained by our laws.

Signing this executive order is a violation of the oath of office: Treason, plain and simple.
Does the Constitution empower a resident to void the Constitution?

Irresponsibility in office creates great confusion and danger. Over the last several months, this Coup has done damage to the Republic and to the people; it has ignored the Constitution; and now it tosses asside sovereignty and the entire Bill of Rights.

We haven't asked for this. We the people want to be left alone to enjoy life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. The system of checks-and-balances is supposed to prevent such a Coup. But evil is afoot and is trying to shove tyranny down our throats.
Honduras said "NO!".
All we ask is that good men investigate the facts of this 'executive order', review the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and consider their oaths.
The Congress has responsibilities.
The Courts have responsibilities.
We the people have responsibilities.
And some people took on additional responsibilities, when they took that oath.

The French bowed down and licked the SS boots pretty quickly. They bend over easy! Just go-along to get-along.
After all, the SS will only go after 'undesireables', right?

Here's the logo of your new SS masters. Some will bow down and genuflect at this sign. Others will note that it provides a nice blue bullseye for target practice.

Prediction: Unless the Coup is stopped and we begin to restore the Constitution, this 'executive order' will of course be put to use by the new super-sovereign (SS) priests, and lead to many violent deaths when Americans stand up for their natural God given rights, which previously were acknowledged in the Constitution. Without recourse for petitions and courts and laws, a posse to round up the Interpol interlopers is the only way to check their actions across the US; and by persuing them across borders, to disrupt their command/control, logistics, etc. Loss of sovereignty works both ways. No safe havens for the SS.

Defending ourselves is natural, so the mayhem is therefore a very 'intended consequence' of this executive order.
Which is why sovereignty and the Bill of Rights were such a good ideas, in the first place.

Pray that checks-and-balances stop this Coup.
Pray that oaths keepers stop this Coup.
Pray that responsible people check this Coup.

Wiping out our finances, currency, industries, farms and businesses is one thing.
We did nothing but hold up a few protest signs when they did that.
But sovereignty and the Bill of Rights is a whole 'nother thing.

If anyone has data regarding sovereignty or immunity or tyranny aspects of this, please help get the information out there. This is an important topic.

Not being in the Oval Office, we don't know the reasons for this order. Information is what's needed. The only info I've seen says that Foreign and American agents of Interpol would become immune from my Constitution and important citizen constraints over government and it's agencies. From the limited data available, it looks like international socialism getting it's 'hooks in', where our Constitution clearly forbids a foreign entity from having any jurisdiction here.

The problem is: If we can't complain or petition or take them to court or vote Interpol out of office - Then the only thing left is to to resort to arms to counter this tyranny.
SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS.

This blog strives to be 'observational' and expressly non-political. Politics is a repulsive process.
Politics is but one grubby component of keeping our freedoms.
Results are what matters: Am I free? Will my children be able to enjoy life, liberty and the persuit of hapiness? Or is evil working to enslave them?

Reading 'John Adams', we find a familiar cause, and find examples of good people setting aside their lives to do what it takes to get results. It isn't easy or popular. And there are many dark hours. Sam Adams believed in western civilization and Christian ethics, with empowerment and the worth of individuals at it's core. Those of us with a 'clasical' western education have read and debated many of the same books and topics as Sam Adams and our Founders did, throughout our lives. There was a time when more Americans were familiar with the under-pinnings of their own civilization. And we were an example to the world, one of the richest and most vibrant culture ever. Were.

This blog strives to be 'observational' and opine about history from the perspective of western civilization. And we must acknowledge that sometimes, civilization is about killing the evil that is at the door trying to devour you children. Only barbarians with no sense of self worth would do otherwise.

That's right: "Do it for the children."
Save your way of life, and your western civilization.

Fight the King.
Fight the Czars.
"Death to Tyrants" is more than a state motto (VA).
"Live Free, or Die" is more than a saying on an automobile license plate (NH).
These sayings are the embodiment of what it is to be an American.


Know your history, or be doomed to repeat it. Pay particular attention to the part about being taxed into poverty and becoming slaves to your god-king. I recommend choosing the Liberty and Freedom, even though it comes with a cost. We must be willing to actually fight for that freedom. Get off the sofa and fight.

The Declaration of Independence couldn't state it more clearly:

Not politics. Just 'observations'. And some thoughts on our God given natural rights and western civilization.
Plato might have called it 'reason' or 'philosophy'.

When the Gov't is Repugnant to the Constitution

The government pretends there is no Constitution.

Schools pretend there is no American philosophy of Liberty and Responsibility, no God given natural rights, no underlying philosophy of western civilization.

Those who are Americans hold a concept that we are a nation of laws, not of men. Yet our police, prosecutors, attorney generals for our cities, counties, states, and the nation do not prosecute treason or criminality. Politicians are openly corrupt, racist, bribe taking puppets. Acorn? Black Panthers? Whoring for votes?

The failure of law is at the heart of America slide to join the rest of the corrupt world. What made us different than the rest of the shitty little countries in the past, was that we had a solid base of western ethics. We were a society of decent law abiding citizens that demanded prosecution and punishment of criminals. We held people responsible.

The concept of responsibility allows liberty. Responsible people make and uphold a society that rewards responsible behavior, and punishes irresponsible behavior. A responsible society creates stereotypes like ‘Yankee frugality’ and ‘the American work ethic’. Responsibility is one of the core ideas that made America great.

And now the communists are using that idea against us.

The kleptocrats, criminals, and communists – Do not follow laws. And now they are no longer prosecuted because they are a special group. They 'know people'. They do as they please and feast on what we, the responsible people, had set aside for our children. We do nothing in response. We expect the law to handle this.

When the law does nothing, we are left with a choice; Anarchy or Death.
(a) We can acknowledge that there is no longer a concept of law and personal responsibility: Look at all the un-prosecuted criminal behavior by special groups and self-appointed princes. Look at the serial criminals, and early release of criminals. The law no longer protects us.
(b) Do nothing, and watch the kleptocrats and communists raid our wealth, destroy our way of life, and Die.

The jews in Europe were a devout and law abiding culture. And they could not, would not, break the law to survive. It was their fundamental decency that made them vulnerable to this type of attack. The vast majority chose to remain law abiding, even to their mass graves.

Like Americans watching the communists, and doing nothing to save their children, to save their way of life.

Why isn’t the law working? Because the communists do not share your ideals, your philosophy, your concept of responsibility. Criminals have a different way of thinking. Passing a law doesn’t make them behave differently.

But that law works to constrain Americans. Even when we don’t like a law, we hold dear the concept of law. But in this case, that behavior is killing us. It is a harness the communists control us with. Once they got the reigns of power, once there was a majority who feasts on the minority, the law is whatever they need it to be, to control those who are ‘decent hard working Americans’.

What made us great, is now the method being used to kill us.

Because we thought ‘the law’ would hold them accountable. But we were not vigilant, and let the criminals get control of the law. Bit by bit, staring with Wilson and FDR and more and more until we have the President and Congress working directly against the American People today. Totalitarian Control defeating Liberty with paperwork. Treason by lawyers and judges with agendas other than ‘protect and defend the Constitution’.

They created a mountain of techno-babble which is the domain of self-appointed princes of perpetual complexity and nuance. Good for the princes, bad for the people. America abhors princes. Complexity is the playground of princes and communists. All crooks hate simplicity and transparancy.  The law should be a tool of the people; a part of the government formed between men for our own protection. Not a jobs program for princes who benefit personally from spiralling complexity, bringing down our liberty and business and our country. The legal structure has become repugnant to the Constitution.


That is how we got here. Now what?

1775 was like this. People had to choose.

The communist take over of my country, "the Coup", is now complete.  Having "won", the commisars expect and demand that we accept their Coup and lick their boots and follow their laws. Laws repugnant to our Constitution and our way of life. The attack on America continues and accelerates. Every month brings new amazing outrages. In violation of the law, in 1775 we began actively evicting the British tyrants and many of their followers. Many of the old laws were rendered null and void. But the transition wasn't chaos. Knowing 'right' from 'wrong' guided the people. Local law enforcement was loyal to their community. It took many years before "new laws" and a "new government" were in place. They carefully worded the organizing principles of a government that would serve the people.

How Will They Confiscate Your Guns?

For decades I have heard gun owners claim that the government would never be able to confiscate our firearms because the government would lose too many men. The implication being, of course, that gun owners would actively resist confiscation, even to the point of shooting back. But I believe this thinking is outdated and doesn’t align very well with reality. But before you tell me how big your honor guard in Hell will be when that day comes, let’s think about how the government could really do it.

Suppose, for the sake of argument, the government bans all civilian possession of firearms at the end of this month. Congress passes a total ban and the President cuts his own re-election throat by signing it. Gun owners get some grace period to turn them in, even beyond the deadline, without being charged with a crime. If we use Australia and Britain as examples there will still be a significant number of firearms that are not turned in. Some estimates put the Australian turn-in at less than 25% and the British faired only about 28%. But Australians and the British have long been used to obeying almost every gun control law. Not so the Americans. When laws are passed that we don’t like, we bite. We scratch. We vote. So here we sit after the guns have been collected and the amnesties have run out. Now what? Send out the personnel carriers, swat and shock troops to seize the guns from those militia “terrorists” who refused to turn them in? Don’t be silly.

The government has lots of records about you. If you purchased a firearm since 1968, chances are that they have some record of it somewhere. Most likely, it will take quite some time for them to compile all the serial numbers of “surrendered” guns (surrendered essentially at gunpoint) and cross off the ones you turned in. It’ll take more time for them to attempt to “clean up” their data. Say, about two years, maybe three. Add to that the hordes of people keypunching in hundreds of thousands of sales and registration records from hundreds of gun stores forced out of business. At some point the government decides they have something approaching a “good” database of unaccounted-for guns.

The next thing you’ll get from the government is an official looking notice that they think you still have a firearm. Their information will probably include all the information from registration forms, right down to the serial number. That notice will tell you that you’re in violation of the law, subject to prosecution and imprisonment. It will give you some period of time to surrender the gun. It will also give you a very limited number of days to return the form with an explanation of why you don’t have the gun, any proof you have, and your signature that the gun was lawfully disposed of. For many people the idea that the government “knows” they didn’t turn in that pistol or rifle and they have the detailed information about it will be enough to get them to surrender the gun. Some people will ignore the letter, others will scrawl a note that “I sold this in 1982 in a private sale”. After some time, the government will figure out how many guns are still out there and what the “compliance rate” is with the gun ban. More importantly, they’ll start sorting their database by the number of guns someone supposedly has “unaccounted”.

If you think they’ll come at these multiple-gun owners with a swat team, guess again. Their most likely tactic will be yet another letter (maybe two more) that generate what they’ll call “insufficient responses”. That means they can’t track a gun after you owned it. This they’ll use as fodder for a search warrant and/or perjury charges at a later date if they can. My guess is that the time between April and August will be a bad time for a lot of “former” gun owners. Remember that the BATF is an arm of the Treasury department and they control the IRS. You’ll probably get a notice in the mail that the IRS has some questions about your taxes or wants to audit you. When you make the appointment to visit the IRS they will pass that information to the BATF. While you are sweating over your deductions, the BATF and local police will execute a search warrant and search your home looking for guns. With you safely off site and distracted, essentially forced into “the royal presence” of the IRS they will snag your guns. Expect them to use slow-scan and ground penetrating radar to search walls, yards, under the patio or deck, the basement, etc. You might even find your hot tub has been drained and moved. Yes, they’ll search your car in the IRS parking lot too.

If you are one of the those people they suspect of having multiple guns and they don’t find any guns at your home, expect them to find and search storage facilities, safety deposit boxes and other places you might use. Warn your relatives who live nearby that they can expect a visit too, even (or perhaps especially) if they never owned a gun. If they are thorough, I’d expect the government agents to check your neighbors to see which of them previously owned a gun and perhaps search their homes, arguing that your neighbor could have held your guns while agents searched your home. Remember that at this point the government authorities don’t have much to fear from the general population. And by the time your complaints are run through the mill, rejected and turned into lawsuits, they’ll have changed the rules.

But you only have one gun you say? Fine. They won’t come looking for it. But they will make sure that possession of ammunition is also a serious crime. Don’t leave any loose cartridges around and where will you hide that case of ammo you rushed out to buy? Expect any “gun parts” to be made illegal at some point in time too. Spare magazines, maybe even old cleaning kits. Anything that says “gun” will be interpreted as “probable cause” to search your entire home. Also expect that you can never use that gun without becoming a serious felon in the eyes of the government. Even if some thug has repeatedly stabbed you with a large knife and threatened to rape your six year old daughter, they won’t forgive you for having the gun. They may even give you extra penalties for using it to save your family. Especially if you are one of the first few hundred people caught this way, they will use you to “set an example”. This will cause people to “bury” their guns away in hiding places, making them all but useless. If the government does come to confiscate it, you won’t be able to get to it fast enough and they will probably find it.

You’ve moved several times since you bought a gun? Remember showing your ID when you bought a gun? Remember writing down your place of birth? Why do you think the government has so many computers? Linking you to your new driver’s license in another state shouldn’t be too hard. Besides, the Treasury folks know where you work. Think you’re safe because you had unregistered guns? Think again. I would expect that the government’s database will contain a lot of old data. Some of it might indicate that a gun was sold to a resident at your address. If they can tie you to ammo sales or range use with your credit card in the previous 2 years you might get a surprise visit. Or that seller might have remembered you bought that gun from him and filled out his gun notice to get “off the hook” for that gun.

The point of this article is that by thinking in limited terms of a “raid” to confiscate guns we lose sight of the alternative methods the government can use. Put yourself in the government’s position and think of your own methods to avoid a conflict. Meanwhile, let’s ensure that every gun owner votes for gun rights this year and the next. You can think of a thousand excuses not to vote, not to help a campaign, not to help another gun owner register to vote. I can think of one important reason to do all of those.

Honduras or Argentina?

Unlike Honduras, we apparently cannot be bothered to resist our enslavement, nor the greatest theft of the millenium.

Like Argentina, we watch and hope someone else will do something. Or we hope, maybe we can 'get it all back' in the next election (?).

Argentina was an exporter of food, oil, minerals, and machined goods - Now they can't feed themselves. From the 5th largest economy in the world to 58% poverty in one year, 2001. 9 years later, and their society has become mired in deep poverty and kleptocracy. Argentina found out that there is no 'undo' button on theft and tyranny.


Argentina is an example, a warning for where the US may be headed.

The country was sacked and the people enslaved: Old school war. Modern methods. It was done with bribery and finance. Not a spear, sword, or trebuchet in evidence. But much more effective.

The Thief is in our House here too (for many years). The new thief-in-chief just doesn't see the need to hide it anymore.
Congress and the Courts encourage him, and have become a bought and paid for allies in the revolving door of promised future kickbacks.
The thief has lawyers, bureaucrat, and cops to keep you in check and hold a sword over your head while he robs you. Play along to get along. In Peking, Chicago, Moscow, Havana, and now -DC. Unless we stop it.

We've been yelling "Stop! Thief!" and he doesn't stop.
We've been giving more and more to their friends to make them stop (Stimulus, TARP,Bailouts, car companies, banks, etc). We gave our grandparent's money to them (social security, medicare). We are giving our kids futures to them (they get our money now, our kids pay the debt for a generation or two).

For What? What benefits do we derive from this theft?

The funds from Stimulus,TARP,Bailouts were enough to pay off every private mortgage and credit card bill in the US. Think about that. Business would be where they were, but the people would have been free to produce and consume. Crazy, I know (it is crazy, in several ways).

Or we could have spent nothing at the federal level, and let individual and business creditors alike assume their own obligations all along (instead of building a house of cards). Business needs to shoulder their own burdens. Done consistently, businesses fail more frequently, but with much less impact to the country as a whole. And when government makes stupid business laws, the effect is immediate, and must be addressed quickly. Government excesses are kept in check. The feed-back loop keeps everything working. Crazy?

Would the people have been better served by paying their own bills?
By having the government pay off their bills?
Or by taking my money and giving it to AIG, Citbank, and Lehman Brothers?
Who is the government serving?
Choices point out the priorities.
Or maybe the bribery.


Hypothetical Question: In Argentina in 2000, with the 5th largest economy in the world, could an attack by 1 million Chinese have sacked Argentina any more thoroughly? How much money could have been extracted by force? Suits work better, and no one seems to fight back. And the wealth is extracted, just the same.

Hypothetical Question: Two years ago, could you imagine the US would be where we are today, without an attack by 10 million Chinese? Wealth being extracted from the people; life savings, college funds, homes, property, all gone. Homeland Security and Law Enforcement being turned against the people. Loss of freedoms. Loss of jobs, and manufacturing. Czars telling business leaders what to do and how much they make. This isn't America anymore.


It's war in a 3 piece suit. But it is war, to take the wealth from one group to give to another.

Look again at the sacking of Argentina. No pikes, swords or trebuchet were needed. But the results were the same.




Let's summarize where we are in the USA, and check the boxes:
Soap, Ballot, Courts.
Check, Check, Check.

The Founders REALLY wanted the Soap, Ballot, and Courts to work - If we could keep it.

The best we can hope for from the elections in 2010 is to slow down the madness. Elections once again do not appear to offer any hope for reversing the madness and imprisoning the corrupt, the culpable, and the enablers.

And at the rate things are 'progess'-ing in the US, what will be left by the Fall of 2010?

So that leaves us where? What boxes?
We can (a) move off planet, or (b) fight, or (c) wear the chains of our new masters.
No other options remain.


In Argentina, the thieves flew away to other countries, with their stolen money. That need not be the case. Argentina was so cowed and so exhausted that they did not follow the thieves, and hunt them down as a nation. They let the thieves live a life in luxury off their ill-gotten gains. Why not hunt them down, like hunting SS officers after WW2. We Americans do that, in the name of what's right, 'natural law'; we hunt down and punish the guilty. Sound extreme? Look again at the sacking of Argentina. How many dead? How many lives ruined? And look at what's happening in the US just now.

It's beyond criminal. It's warfare, in an expensive suit, to extract massive wealth.

When should Argentina have said, "NO! Stop! Thief!" ?
What should Argentinian's have done? Specifically? Individually?
If they could go back to early 2001, knowing how this path plays out; would they try a different path?

2009 was 1765++. Will 2010 be like 1775?

The years 1765 and 1775 are interesting to ponder.
About Two-hundred and forty years ago. About 10 generations.

1765 was a year that was much like 2009. The majority of Americans “woke-up” to the realization that their government had become tyrants, obsessed with controlling them to control the products of their labor. Governments are instituted among men to secure the blessings of Liberty, not to enslave themselves.

1765 was the year that changed everything.
1765 Timeline

• March 22 The British Parliament passes the Stamp Act, which is the first direct tax levied from Great Britain on the American colonies.

• March 1765 Parliament passed the Quartering Act, as an Amendment to the Mutiny Act, which had to be renewed annually by Parliament. The Quartering Act required Colonies to quarter and provision British troops.

• August 26 In protest of the Stamp Act, Bostonians destroy home of lieutenant governor Thomas Hutchinson

• October 17 The Pennsylvania Gazette reports that a Mr. McCullough, the Distributor of Stamps for the Royal Colony of North Carolina, has resigned his post in protest of the Stamp Act. A Dr. Huston is appointed to the position.

• November 1 The Stamp Act goes into effect in the 13 colonies, in order to help pay for British military operations in North America.

• December 12 The Pennsylvania Gazette reports that Dr. Huston, the recently instated Distributor of Stamps for the Royal Colony of North Carolina, has resigned his post in protest of the Stamp Act.
Like 2009, 1765 was a year that transformed America.
Some bureaucrats resigned, but there were plenty of quislings to take their place.

Historian Gary B. Nash wrote:
"Whether stimulated externally or ignited internally, ferment during the years from 1761 to 1766 changed the dynamics of social and political relations in the colonies and set in motion currents of reformist sentiment with the force of a mountain wind. Critical to this half decade was the colonial response to England’s Stamp Act, more the reaction of common colonists than that of their presumed leaders. …


Both loyal supporters of English authority and well-established colonial protest leaders underestimated the self-activating capacity of ordinary colonists. By the end of 1765 … people in the streets had astounded, dismayed, and frightened their social superiors."
During the Stamp Act unrest of 1765 and early 1766, increasing numbers of soldiers were stationed in or near American cities. Some of those were new units brought from England; others were transferred from western posts, a move that enabled the Indians to regain the offensive on some portions of the frontier.

King George III was willing to lose the Indian Wars, as long as the people could be kept in their place and their money flowed into the government.

That’s a view of people as a resource to be extracted and harvested for the good of the State. Today, North Korea understands this mentality. China, Russia, and East Block Europeans understand this view of the State.

Forcing compliance, and making the victim pay for the means of his own enslavement.



There was a slower pace to life back then. The King never got on National TV to address the nation. There was no internet. Communications, travel, everything took longer to develop.

Incrementally, the liberty of the people was eroded by a long train of abuses. Tyranny needs money and obedience. That generation where trapped in a situation that repeats throughout history. They tried everything; speech, voting, courts, and could find no redress. Tyranny was relentless and intolerable. They came to understand that it was their duty to throw off such Government themselves. Washington, Franklin, Adams, Jefferson, Hancock, Hamilton and an much of the population banded together to resist tyranny. (About 30% resisted. About 30% remained neutral. And about 30-40% always remained loyal to the crown.)

By 1775, the government had dug in and was intent on pushing their wishes onto the people - whether the people wanted it or not. All this free speech and talk of Liberty was getting in the way of collecting money.

1775 Timeline

• February 9 - The Parliament of Great Britain declares Massachusetts in rebellion.

• March 23 – Patrick Henry, a delegate to the Second Virginia Convention after the Virginia House of Burgesses was disbanded by the Royal Governor, delivers his "Give me Liberty, or give me Death!" speech at St. John's Church in Richmond, Virginia.

Where prior to 1760 everyone was considered a loyalist, by the end of 1765 the King was acting against the good of the people, and the people started protesting vigourously.

By 1775 they saw that the abuses would continue and saw the government using force to make them obey. The change happened quickly, once they understood that the King sought to enslave them for his own puposes.




In March 1775, Patrick Henry proclaimed, "Give me Liberty, or give me Death!"  In April, the government tried a 'gun grab' that was repulsed by the people at the Old North Bridge across the Concord River.  By August, Patrick Henry was a Colonel with 150 'good men'. By December he was actively engaged and evicted the previous government from the state. A year later, he would be the First Governor of post-colonial Virgnia.



Once the will is in place, and the acceptance of death ... then pro-active people get shit done.

By 1776, the Revolution was in full swing. It has been estimated that never more than 3% of Americans were able to fight for the Revolution, while 10% actively supplied, fed, and armed the rebellion. At that time, many of the men we consider Founding Fathers had their businesses in ruins, had prices on their head, and they were fighting the strongest military power on earth. They made a Declaration, saying
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. …
And they made an oath to one another
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.


Reading slowly through the Declaration really strikes home today. What they were facing, and the principled position they took.

The Despot's view is that the machinery of state uses and controls the people.
The American view is that the people use and control the State.

Governance is a balancing act, and the framers gave the people enough power to contain the beast that they were creating. But the beast doesn’t like control, and wants to be fed more and more. Ten generations later, the State is a gigantic aggressive beast; and people scurry to stay out of it’s way while it plunders the accumulated wealth of generations, and robs our children’s future.

With a new year just around the corner, we all wonder what it will bring...

Will it be like 1766 or 1774 (start/end of continued train of abuses)?

Or 1775 (general secession/nullification/restoration/widespread use of force)?

1861 (civil war resolving into geographical regions)?

1973 (abandoning a war, riots, and impeachable offenses)?

And maybe some 1984 (Orwell), too?

Which year will 2010 most resemble?

Global Warming Jihad Against the West

Let's just say it. Global Warming is a pick ax to tear down the western industrial world.
Harnessing energy has freed us from serfdom and slavery. Learning to control and manipulate energy empowers the west by freeing people from toil and drudgery. As most men were freed from the hardest physical labor, women are no longer are tied to housekeeping chores and child raising.

Let's Review:
Energy is good.

Luddites are stupid.

"We Hold These Truths" Radio Broadcast - December 15, 1941

The Bill of Rights was ratified on December 15th, 1791.
At the 150 year anniversary of the Bill Of Rights, every major radio station broadcast this commemoration to a cornerstone of our Republic.

We Hold These Truths - December 15, 1941

Now, we present one of the most unique broadcasts of the old time radio era.

“We Hold These Truths” was a one hour dramatic program written by Norman Corwin for the 150th anniversary of the Bill of Rights. Scheduled to be heard on all four networks on December 15, 1941, events would turn the program into something bigger than a simple commemoration.

The federal government commissioned the broadcast and preparations were made for the show before Pearl Harbor, of course. With the nation suddenly at war, the program took on a special meaning - it holds the record for the largest radio audience for a dramatic program. Some have estimated that 63 million listeners, about half of the US population at the time, turned in to the program.

Heard in the show, broadcast from Hollywood, New York and Washington, DC, are Lionel Barrymore, Jimmy Stewart, Orson Welles, Edward Arnold, Walter Brennan, Bob Burns, Walter Huston Marjorie Main, Edward G. Robinson, and Rudy Vallee. The music was composed and conducted by Bernard Herrman; Leopold Stokowski conducts the national anthem at the end of the program after remarks by President Roosevelt.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights establish the agreement between the individual people and their government. The National Archives introduces the Bill Of Rights in context:
During the debates on the adoption of the Constitution, its opponents repeatedly charged that the Constitution as drafted would open the way to tyranny by the central government. Fresh in their minds was the memory of the British violation of civil rights before and during the Revolution. They demanded a "bill of rights" that would spell out the immunities of individual citizens. Several state conventions in their formal ratification of the Constitution asked for such amendments; others ratified the Constitution with the understanding that the amendments would be offered.
The Constitution and Bill of Rights are what fuels the light that shines out of the 'beacon on the hill'. Our birthright. Won by our forebearers. To be protected and handed down to our children.

John Wayne, Patrick Henry, and All of Us

John Wayne became the embodiment of what it means to be an American.
The ethos he portrayed was the essence of America in the 20th Century.

John Wayne described it this way
“I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand upon. I don’t do these things to other men and I expect the same respect out of them.”
He was the best friend you could ever hope to meet, but if you violated his code then he would would fight.

The collectivists, the NEA, Hollywood, and the media have decided that is not the America they want. They don't want anyone else to want it either.



They do not strive to become thoughtful, honorable, good christian men; pro-active, independent, and strong and free.

Their worst nightmare is an America of John Wayne's.


Sure, John Wayne was a fictional recreation. But his character resonated with a nation that looked up to a nation of real men just like that. The 20th Century was filled with them. And the 19th and the 18th.
America has been blessed with thoughtful, honorable, good christian men; pro-active, independent, and strong and free.

Driving through Culpeper yesterday in the snow, made me think of the Culpeper Minute Men, who formed the backbone of the force which expelled the British from Virginia in several actions including the Battle of Great Bridge, 9 December, 1775,
"... seven months before the Declaration of Independence, was at the time called the Second Battle of Bunker Hill."

Americans are what make America free.

The Culpeper Don't Tread On Me Flag reportedly was first used as the banner for a group of about one hundred minutemen in Culpeper County, VA who formed part of Colonel Patrick Henry's First Virginia Regiment of 1775. In October-November 1775, three hundred such minutemen, led by Colonel Stevens, assembled at Culpeper Court House and marched for Williamsburg. Their unusual dress alarmed the people as they marched through the country. The words "Liberty or Death" were in large white letters on the breast of their hunting shirts. They had bucks' tails in their hats and in their belts, tomahawks and scalping knives.

The rattlesnake device occurs on several Revolutionary War flags. The rattlesnake's eye, supposedly brighter than any other creature's and with no eyelids, is the symbol of vigilance. It is said that the snake never begins an attack, but once aroused it never surrenders. The snake was also portrayed with 13 rattles, symbolic of the 13 American colonies.

The coiled snake might seem a strange symbol today. But it was and is effective. No American who ever sees it forgets -- and that's just the kind of message the revolutionaries wanted to send.

For those early Americans, the rattlesnake had special significance. Like liberty, the rattler was found only in America. But that wasn't all. That wily serpent was usually just a harmless, humble creature. But aroused, angered, and prodded, first it warned with violent rattle then it struck with a deadly bite. Gadsden emphasized this by printing the legend "Don't Tread On Me" on his flag.

The words swept the nation. It became the banner of minutemen militias. The Culpeper Minutemen chose the coiled snake ready to strike and the words from Gadsden's flag, but then raised another defiant fist at England by adding the words: "Liberty or Death."

Early Americans saw the tremendous opportunities of a land born of liberty where men were free to innovate, invent and explore. They could reap the rewards of freedom without government meddling and were safe because they answered to God, family and their local communities.

Most of all, those early Americans understood that liberty is fragile. To give any distant body of elites the power to tax and spend to stay in power promises corruption and a Leviathan government more interested in concentrating power for itself than in protecting the rights of its citizens.

The Culpeper Minute Men were inspired by one of their own, Colonel Patrick Henry, to acknowledge the situation that tyrants had put them in. "Liberty or Death".

Patrick Henry immortalized those words just that March
I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery ... We have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated ... We have prostrated ourselves before the throne ... Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence. ...

There is a just God who presides over the destines of nations ... who will raise up friends to fight our battle for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave ... Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God!

I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death.
Henry has this to say about the Bible:
...is a book worth more than all of the other books that were every printed.

"Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense?"

"The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them."

Time for the Grown-ups to Man Up

Why do the traitors, coup partners, and henchman remain free? Considering the sovereignty, liberty, industry, and money they were actively in the process of taking - Prison and execution would be compassionate.

And the money that these organizations have - I want it back. The institutions will have good lawyers (paid with my money) but many Universities need to be taken down brick by brick to repay financially what they have stolen.

And given how much we've already paid, EPA regs and small businesses and large industry effected - Hundreds of laws must be repealed immediately.


Or, we just ignore it, and let the damage continue; maybe someone else will do something...(?)

When kids vandalise a neighborhood, kick over trash cans, break a few windows, and spray paint some walls - Do we just leave the trash and graffitti, and let the kids keep their allowance and let them keep going out with their friends? No. They are held RESPONSIBLE for their actions. Remember that word? It's a concept the kids have been trying to make you forget.

It time for the grownups to impose our civilization back onto the chaos. To restore the basic framework and structure that existed before these knuckleheads tore up the place.

These kids must be grounded. Allowances and savings taken to pay for damages. Everything they overturned must be restored back to functionality. The kids really don't like the concept of responsibility, but each generation must come to terms with the results of their actions and/or inactions.

And the grownups now know that they have to be much more viligent in the future. Jail a few, punish the complicit, and try to reform the rest of the wayward. The alternative is to let these hooligans keep running amok, and destroy the whole community.

Time for the grown-ups to man up.
Time to hold the knuckleheads accountable for what they've done.
Jail.
Paying for damages.
Restore the way it was, before they messed everything up.
Reform as many of the deliquents as we can to responsible and productive lives.
